WUSME Partner of the 8th Annual Shakti National Convention – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

WUSME joined the “8th Annual Shakti National Convention 2023 – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs” organized by India SME Forum with the support of the Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Government of India, as International Partner.
On the occasion, WUSME President Barbara Terenzi sent a message of support to the initiative, whose main theme this year was “Promoting a sustainable ecosystem for female entrepreneurship”.
In her statement, WUSME President recalled how the Organization has always supported Female Entrepreneurship and has a Permanent Commission specifically dedicated to Social Issues and Female Entrepreneurs.
“Women make up a substantial number of micro-enterprises in many countries. It is important to focus on how technology and innovation can help achieve gender equality to accelerate the value attributed to women in business and enterprise, enabling easy access to finance as necessary also to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals set in the 2030 Agenda” she recommended.  WUSME will continue to collaborate with its Stakeholders to promote a sustainable and women-empowering ecosystem.
