President Barbara Terenzi welcomes the CPAFFC delegation
On 13 April, President Barbara Terenzi organised a high-profile cultural exchange in San Marino to mark the year of the 55th anniversary of official relations between the Republic of San Marino and the People’s Republic of China.
A large delegation from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), led by its distinguished President Yang Wanming, together with delegations from Hubei, Guizhou and Wuhan, visited San Marino.
On this occasion, discussions also took place regarding some future activities of the WUSME Association.
In the morning, the Secretary of State for Justice, the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Rome delivered their official messages of greeting. Also present were political figures and friends of the community.
The delegation, accompanied by President Barbara Terenzi, had the honour of being received in audience by Their Excellencies the Captains Regent, (Heads of State of San Marino) together with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
On this special occasion, moving messages were shared in memory of the late President Gian Franco Terenzi.
