President Gian Franco Terenzi meets WUSME Ambassador in Beijing Xu Cunsong

CHINA, April 13th, 2017 – WUSME President Gian Franco Terenzi met during last trip to China Mr. Xu Cunsong, WUSME Ambassador for the city of Beijing and President of the Institute of Trade between Europe and China, an important entity that will foster relations and cooperation in the economic field between Europe and China. During the meeting they discussed about implementation of initiatives and organization of WUSME events in the city of Beijing to promote during this year and for 2018 in order to activate a greater cooperation among Micro, Small and Medium-sized Chinese and international enterprises, through the cooperation of competent institutions and economic organizations in the specific SME sector.
In 2016, Small and Medium Enterprises in China have realized an increase in net profits (http://www.ecns.cn/business/2017/04-14/253461.shtml), despite the slowdown in economic growth and rising global uncertainties. The goal for 2017 is to improve business conditions, development and growth of new markets (the survey was conducted by CPA Australia: http://www.ecns.cn/business/2017/04-14/253461.shtml). In particular improving cooperation in the field of infrastructure, production capacity, tourism and agriculture in the frame of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, the New Silk Road, the largest economic platform in the world that features cooperation between China and countries of central and Eastern. An initiative of great importance, which aims to create more business opportunities, to foster relationships and to help SMEs in order to expand into new markets and to strengthen at the international level.
