WUSME President Gian Franco Terenzi was honoured with the “Magnolia Award” in Shanghai

SHANGHAI – September 6th, 2017 – WUSME President Gian Franco Terenzi was honoured with the prestigious recognition “Magnolia Award” last 6 September 2017 in Shanghai.
The Magnolia award was set up by the Shanghai Municipal in 1989 to recognize the contribution of outstanding international friends to Shanghai’s development and international exchange, that today it’s the most populous city in the world.
This year, there are 50 award winners from 18 countries. They make Shanghai their second home and actively promote cooperation between Shanghai and the rest of the world in many fields: economy, trade, finance, education, tourism, science and technology, health, culture and other sectors.

WUSME President Gian Franco Terenzi has been chosen for various economic and cultural initiatives carried out over the past 30 years, and specifically, in the Small and Medium Enterprises field, which are the leading sector in the economy and whose general overview will change in the next few years, especially due to the growing digital transformation. A “revolution” that can take on a strategic value for the growth of SMEs in the medium – long term.
