WUSME PRESS RELEASE: FIRST MEETING THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD

REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO, November 7 th, 2016

On Monday, November 7th 2016, the new Special Committee for the operational and proactive management of the Association held its first meeting in the WUSME Headquarters of San Marino, a new executive body established directly by the Board on April 17th, 2016 in order to evaluate activities and issues relating to the Association and submit confirmed proposals and temporary deliberations to the Board of Directors for final approval. Members of this new Committee: Gian Franco Terenzi, Giorgio Battistini, Leo Gatti, Loretta Menicucci and Biagio Riccio, all present in San Marino for the occasion. The agenda of the meeting covered a wide range of issues related mainly to the new, broader and more consolidated organizational structure, which WUSME has been committed to acquire since the Institutional  Meeting of April 2016 as defined by the new Articles of the Association. Among the issues under consideration: the definition of the macro areas of the world, the designation of Vice Presidents, the confirmation or appointment of the WUSME Ambassadors and Ambassadresses and the establishment of a Special Committee/Sectoral Representation Office in China. The proposals confirmed and deliberations approved by the Special Committee will now be subject to the final and formal approval of the Board for operational implementation
