WUSME Senator Ivano Spallanzani has received the title of honor “Stella al Merito Sociale 2017”

MILAN (ITALY) – October 23th, 2017 – On the occasion of the 9th International Social Commitments Awards held in Milan (Italy) on October 23th, 2017, WUSME Senator Ivano Spallanzani has received the title of honor “Stella al Merito Sociale 2017”, an acknowledgment given by the Italian Organization “Cultura e Solidarietà” to those who stand out for their particular dedication in the field of solidarity and culture and offer a daily contribution to the economic and social development of the territory.
For almost thirty years, Ivano Spallanzani, currently President of “Banca di Sassari”, devoted himself to the development and protection of Italian Crafts, also as National President of “Confartigianato Italia” (Italian National Crafts Association) for three consecutive terms in the 1990s. Today his support continues through his commitment in WUSME.
During the event, WUSME Senator Spallanzani highlighted the importance of Small and Medium Enterprises in the global economy as main driving force for business development and job creation.
