WUSME in Rome at the FAO Headquarters

WUSME congratulates FAO for the many initiatives undertaken to celebrate its 80th Anniversary under the World Food Forum (WFF), taking place at the FAO Headquarters in Rome from 14 to 17 October 2025.

This year’s event marks a milestone: the 80th Anniversary of FAO, commemorated through a week of global dialogue, knowledge exchange and solution-driven collaboration, all guided by the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future” and FAO’s four pillars: better production, better nutrition, better environment and better life.

On October 16, the World Food Day, a WUSME delegation lead by President Barbara Terenzi has taken part in the activities of the World Food Forum and held meetings with FAO officials.
