
WUSME at COP30: Side Event and Exhibit
Side Event and Exhibit proposed by WUSME at COP30, in association with Partner Organizations, have been officially confirmed.
The Side Event will take place on 18 November in collaboration with the European University Institute as lead applicant, German Emissions Trading Association (BVEK), the Tsinghua University, Global Climate Change Institute (GCCI) and the Seoul International Law Academy (SILA) as Co-applicants, to address “Towards a global carbon market: how to ensure integrity and cooperation”. The panel will bring together speakers and experts from the Partner Organizations and their international networks. WUSME will focus on the growing importance of SMEs related to this field.
The Exhibit will take place in conjunction with the Side Event from 17 to 20 November in collaboration with the Tsinghua University and will revolve around the Future global carbon market mechanism: path and cooperation to reach all sectors and key group, such as SMEs. The Exhibit will also be a space and moment for WUSME to welcome international Delegates, share insights and discuss opportunities for collaborations.
