The conference was attended by H.E. Dr Selemani Saidi Jafo, Minister of Industry & Trade of the United Republic of Tanzania and brought together institutional representatives from many African countries, private sector executives, and global investors to catalyze economic transformation through shared opportunities.

Dr. Pauline Crawford, Chair of the Permanent Commission for Social Issues and Female Entrepreneurship of WUSME, took part in the Conference and had the opportunity to introduce the World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises to the international delegates and underline its particular attention towards MSMEs in developing countries, such as Africa.

Anchored in Tanzania’s Vision 2050, the African Union’s Agenda 2063, and the AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area), this event aimed at repositioning Africa within global markets, strengthen intra-African trade, and highlight Tanzania’s strategic position as a gateway to East and Southern Africa
