WUSME at UNIDO ITPO Shanghai: “Sharing the Blue: Galloping into Spring” Mobilization Workshop

On February 28, 2026, WUSME was present at the “Sharing the Blue: Galloping into Spring” Mobilization Workshop, co-hosted by UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Investment Promotion Service Center of Shanghai Pudong New Area. The event served as the official pre-launch of the 5th Campaign of Carbon-Neutral Technology and Solutions, gathering over 160 leaders from international organizations, government, finance, and technology enterprises.

Ms. Yang Rongyong, Member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Commission on Economic and Financial Issues of WUSME, delivered a keynote presentation of WUSME, introducing cooperation opportunities and matchmaking mechanisms—placing WUSME among a distinguished group of global partners spanning Hong Kong, Shanghai, Budapest, Singapore, Budapest, Brussels, Vienna, Dubai, Bangkok and Turkey.

The campaign, part of UNIDO’s annual flagship Global Call initiative, focuses on three tracks—Energy Carbon Neutrality, Industrial and Manufacturing Carbon Neutrality, and Integrated Carbon Neutrality Governance—and this year introduces an exciting new focus on the blue economy, a sector projected to double in scale over the next two decades.
