WUSME in New Delhi, India

The WUSME delegation continued the mission in India with a series of high-level meetings with representatives of India’s Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), including:

• Mr. Bharat Khera, Secretary, Ministry of MSME
• Dr. Rajneesh, Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME
• Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary – SME, Ministry of MSME

The meetings were an important occasion for dialogue on possible future joint activities between WUSME and Indian institutions, with a shared focus on strengthening support for micro, small and medium enterprises and expanding opportunities for international cooperation.

The WUSME delegation then visited the headquarters of the India SME Forum in Delhi.

WUSME convened its Board Meeting in India, a milestone that reflects the growing strength of the relationship between WUSME and the Indian SME ecosystem.

The occasion also provided the opportunity to meet with Dr. Juneja, WUSME Senator, whose continued support has been instrumental in building bridges between WUSME and Indian institutions.

This historic gathering in New Delhi marks a significant step forward in WUSME’s engagement with India and reaffirms the organization’s commitment to fostering closer ties between its global network and one of the world’s most dynamic SME ecosystems.
