WUSME at the UNIDO DAY in Shanghai

WUSME will be Partner Organization of the UNIDO DAY 2024 in Shanghai on June 13 in the context of the 10th edition of the China Shanghai International Technology Fair.
President Barbara Terenzi and Mrs. Rongyong Yang, Member of the Board of Directors, will be present at the event on behalf of the World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises. President Barbara Terenzi will take the floor in the opening ceremony to convey a message in support of the initiative as well as contribute to the discussions along the day.
The partnership proposal came from UNIDO ITPO Shanghai, the UNIDO technology and investment promotion office, following the fruitful collaboration achieved at the SIDE EVENT held by WUSME at COP28, the United Nations Conference on Change Climate, on December 3, 2023 in Dubai.
UNIDO DAY 2024 will focus on the theme “Green science, technology and innovation stimulate new quality productive forces”. Joint discussions will be held on how to transform green technological innovation into an effective driving force for economic development and how to realize global innovation in sustainable supply chains through public-private dialogue and international linkage of supply and demand.
