WUSME Partner in INVEST IN NEW AFRICA(n) 2019

March 22th, 2019 – WUSME supported, as Partner Organization, the third edition of “Invest in New Africa(n) – Competences, Markets and Finance”, organized by the AFRICA SMB FORUM from 6th to 8th March, 2019 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

During this Pan-African conference, several key issues for Africa have been covered such as economic integration, inclusive growth, governance and industrialization. The debates focused also on access for African Small and Medium Enterprises in public procurement, subcontracting and financing.

Sectors on the agenda such as Agri-Business, Industry and Services have been subject of the discussion during the different sessions.  In addition, B2B meetings are planned for CEOs managers of SMEs, exports managers, buyers and suppliers, looking for advice, equipment, infrastructures, products, skills, etc.

In his speech, President Terenzi highlighed how “Since its foundation, WUSME has paid particular attention to the African continent, promoting some initiatives specifically useful for the development of its entrepreneurial community” and stressed how his participation in the Convention “is motivated by the desire to make an active contribution to the development of African SMEs, which are the subject of considerable attention, considering their vast, still unexpressed potential and the key role they can have in the development of this continent.
