
WUSME Ambassador in Sri Lanka Nawaz Rajabdeen appointed Co-Chairperson of London’s Peace Institute
January 20th, 2020 – Mr. Nawaz Rajabdeen, WUSME Ambassador in Sri Lanka and Founder President of COSMI (Sri Lanka’s Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Industries), has been appointed Co-Chairperson of the Global Peace Institute (GPI) in London, which conducts interdisciplinary research in several thematic field including international relations and politics.
GPI an independent non-profit, non-governmental organization, is committed to promote global peace and resilience through peace education, dialogue, training, creating awareness and research.
“I am grateful to GPI for enlisting me and for their ongoing and vast efforts” said Mr. Nawaz Rajabdeen and added: “In-depth research is vital for any country before introducing new economic and industry policies and even to further develop the MSME sector”.
