WUSME and Confartigianato Imprese Rimini together to support Small and Medium Enterprises

REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO – October 10th, 2022 – A meeting was held in Republic of San Marino between the top management of WUSME (World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises) and Confartigianato Imprese Rimini, represented by Barbara Terenzi president and Carlo Maiani collaborator of the WUSME president, Davide Cupioli and Gianluca Capriotti president and provincial secretary of ‘Rimini Association.

One theme is the possible synergies to work on common development drivers of SMEs: digital and technological innovation, environmental protection and progress in business culture.

The meeting reinvigorated the historical friendship between WUSME and Confartigianato Imprese Rimini, started in the past decades by Gian Franco Terenzi and Mauro Gardenghi, who have now disappeared and are fondly remembered during the works.

Now the link is in the role Ivano Spallanzani, former national president of Confartigianato and now consul of crafts on behalf of Confartigianato and WUSME Senator.

“We can do many things together and useful for small and medium-sized enterprises in the San Marino and Rimini area – said Barbara Terenzi and Davide Cupioli – in the wake of a historic friendship between institutions. We now collect this legacy and plan activities that give business prospects to companies, even in an international key. We have in common the sensitivity towards youth entrepreneurship, the willingness to dare to the passion for work and for the autonomous enterprise. It is increasingly necessary to support women in the world of work, protecting their rights. We will schedule training sessions, because the craftsman must be supported with the approach to technological innovation. We have promised ourselves to intensify relations and to develop awareness-raising events for administrations and public opinion“.
