
WUSME General Meeting 2025 remembering Gian Franco Terenzi
On the occasion of the annual General Meeting, WUSME reminds that May 20th marks the fifth anniversary of the demise of GIAN FRANCO TERENZI, Founder and first President of the Association, which continues his work and legacy in support of SMEs and Crafts worldwide.
On April 4th 2025, the General Meeting of the WUSME Association was held in the Republic of San Marino and attended by Members and Directors of the Organization.
During the meeting, President Barbara Terenzi briefly reviewed the main activities carried out in 2024, recalling how, during the year, WUSME actively contributed to the work of the International Organizations it’s associated with by virtue of the official status granted such as UN-ECOSOC, UNIDO and UNFCCC – COP, through the partecipation of its Delegates in the related activities and the submission of Written Statements.
Furthermore, she highlighted how WUSME fruitfully collaborated with several SME organizations, operating at national and regional levels, contributing to the different initiatives implemented.
In all these areas and at various levels, WUSME has been committed to highlighting the conditions of micro, small and medium enterprises in terms of opportunities and challenges for a stable and sustainable growth, with particular reference to areas of critical interest such as energy transition, innovation, female entrepreneurship and their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
